Let's break through the winter blues by giving back to our community!  The Peoria Area Illini Club is looking for 20 volunteers to help put together Tender Mercies at Midwest Food Bank.  Each Tender Mercies meal is composed of rice, beans, textured vegetable protein, and seasonings - all hand-packaged by volunteers.  

Midwest Food Bank wlecomes volunteers of all ages, which makes this a very family-friendly opportunity.  For those who are too young to hand package, there is an unstaffed play area to help keep our littlest volunteers entertained.
